About the PTA

Our PTA’s purpose is to help every child at East Sheen Primary School to thrive. We support the school in its ambition to be a fun, exciting and aspirational school where children love learning, feel happy and safe at school, and have the support and opportunities they need to succeed.

We do this by:

  1. raising money to pay for equipment and facilities that aren’t covered by the school’s regular funding;
  2. working with the school’s leadership to understand what funds are needed for;
  3. playing our part to connect a wider school community of parents, carers and teachers, which helps make East Sheen Primary School such a warm and welcoming place.

Every parent and carer with a child at the school is a member of the PTA. Fundraising is the ultimate team sport — we’d encourage everyone to get involved. Click on the links to find out more about our events, where we spend the money raised, how to get involved, and who’s on the current PTA Committee.

Get involved

Six ways to make a difference.

1

Coffee Club

A small monthly donation of £5, £10 or £20 makes a big difference, raising over £3,700 this year. These donations can qualify for gift aid, boosting your donation by 25% at no cost to you.

2

EasyFundraising

Shop online as usual and earn free donations for the school. Over £400 raised last term alone with zero effort.

3

Volunteer your time

Help out at events, staff the after-school library or share your skills. One-off or regular opportunities available.

4

Attend our events

From the Summer Fair to coffee mornings, every ticket sold and cake bought helps fund the things that make our school special. Showing up is what builds community — and it's what makes these events fun.

5

Donate

Donations are always welcome. You may be able to boost a donation's impact with corporate matching or by opting into gift aid.

6

Join the Committee

The PTA recruits new members each year. It's a great way to make a difference, working alongside other parents and the school leadership.
